Charles County Public Schools (CCPS) today announces the administrative appointment of a new assistant principal for the 2026-2027 school year. The appointment is effective immediately.
Armille Mitchell has been appointed as an assistant principal at J.C. Parks Elementary School. Prior to her appointment, Mitchell served as an administrative intern at Theodore G. Davis Middle School for three years. She is also serving as an administrator in the CCPS summer school program, a role she has held since 2024.
Before starting her administrative career with CCPS, Mitchell taught math with Alexandria City Public Schools in Virginia. The Board of Education of Charles County in May approved an assistant principal pool that included Mitchell.
